Information for Your First Visit

 

If you're considering a visit to Calvary, we have tried to answer some common questions below. If you still have questions, please ask us!

When do I need to arrive?

Most people arrive about 10-15 minutes before a service or activity begins. We have coffee/snacks available prior to all of the Sunday Adult Bible Fellowships. A full schedule of Service Times is available below:

Sunday

Sunday School & Adult Bible Fellowship: 9:00am - 10:00am
Morning Worship: 10:15am - 11:30am
Evening Worship: 6:00pm

Wednesday

Youth Group: 6:45pm
Olympian Clubs: 6:45pm
Prayer Meeting: 7:00pm

 

What should I plan to wear?

Our first concern is not what you wear, but your heart attitude. We love to see attire that is modest and simple so that the attention is centered on God and His Word.

You'll find a mix of attire in our services. Sunday morning Worship Services are a mix of business casual and coat-and-tie. Sunday evening services and Wednesday meetings are a mix of business casual and casual.

 

 What style of music will I find at CBC?

Our music style could best be described as "blended." We still sing many of the great hymns of the faith as well as a number of contemporary praise songs and choruses. Our goal is to lift our voices to our God and Savior with lyrics and music that please and honor Him.

 

Are CBC's facilities handicap accessible?

Yes. Our main floor is accessible via an access ramp, as are the main floor restrooms. The basement is not handicap accessible.
